Can you believe it?

Today, we celebrate the 100th edition of our beloved “Midweek Vibe” newsletter! 🥳

It’s been an incredible journey, and we couldn’t have done it without your amazing support and engagement.

As a token of our gratitude, we’re taking a trip down memory lane and revisiting some of the editions you liked the most.

Without further ado, here are the top five most engaging “Midweek Vibes” so far:

Number 5

In August 2022, we reported about a historic community in New Orleans known for its Creole and shotgun cottages, along with notable architectural elements like ridge tiles that contribute to its charm, in the email titled, Steal this NOLA trick and design the hippest homes ever. Sponsored by Hecker Ridge Tiles.

Number 4

Then again, in August 2022, we highlighted an incident involving a collapsed pedestrian bridge at the Charlotte Motor Speedway and discussed structural deflection and its significance in the email titled, Is there a bounce in your step? That may not be a good thing. Sponsored by the Tuesday at 2 Webinar Series.

Number 3

In July 2022, in the email Inside the World’s Skinniest House, sponsored by Ambient Building Products, we introduced you to the Keret House in Warsaw by Polish architect Jakub Szczesny of Centrala, which has a footprint ranging from 36 inches to 44 inches wide.

Number 2

In September 2022, we discovered how authors like H.G. Wells and Jules Verne, as well as movies like 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and The Time Machine, influenced interior design with a mix of elegance and industrial elements in the email Have you been asked to steampunk a home design? Sponsored by Goodwin Company.

Number 1

The most engaging Midweek Vibe email (so far), What’s a WikiHouse? I’m glad you asked. Sponsored by our friends at the APA-The Engineered Wood Association. We learned about an open-source project for designing and building houses using a digitally manufactured system, primarily made of plywood, enabling the construction of zero-carbon homes utilizing CNC technology to provide prefabricated plywood panels for easy assembly without fasteners.

There you have it.
