Coffee With Bernie joins D&B North Myrtle Beach

Published about 2 months ago • 1 min read

Hello Reader,

The Design & Build North Myrtle Beach Conference will take a short break to air Coffee With Bernie at 10:00 am ET (3:00 PM UTC) on Friday (March 8).

Bernie will begin this month's program by discussing how continuous learning contributes to your professional growth.

Be prepared to answer the questions,

  1. What skill have you learned in the past year, and
  2. How has it helped you professionally?

Learn the 1-1-5-3-1-30-30 Personal Development Plan and discover other effective ways to develop new skills in your current role.

Coffee with Bernie is a fun, "fishbowl" style roundtable for colleagues to discuss industry-related topics on the second Friday of each month. Log in to participate at AIBD.org/coffee-with-Bernie.

Anyone can register to attend D&B North Myrtle Beach in person or virtually until the start of the program at 12:30 ET on Thursday.

Along with meeting some of the smartest, most talented, and fun residential designers in America, we've scheduled a curriculum of education that focuses on new technologies being used in business and design.

There are hands-on sessions (bring your laptop or tablet) where participants will get educated in industry-relevant training.

  • AI Chatbots. Basic “prompt crafting,” outbound email generation, and inbound email responses
  • AI-Powered Search Engines for greater productivity than the usual Google search
  • AI-Generated Architectural Design
  • AI-Generated Renderings
  • AI-Generated Presentations
  • AI-Enabled collaborations/meetings
  • Cloud-based project management

Our D&B Cafe presentations include these new technologies.

  • Exterior cladding solutions by Diamond Kote/Wausau Supply
  • Scale your designs with automated options (and options-on-options) by MiTek
  • The groundbreaking project, Hauska.ai.

We also host an annual event favorite, 60 Design Ideas in 60 Minutes.

It's fast-paced and inspiring. This one session alone makes it worth mentioning that you'll have access to the event recordings for 12 months.

Who know what else we might think of once we get started. 😊

See you there (or online!),
The A-Team

P.S. CPBDs attending (in person or online) will earn all eight required CE credits for recertification in 2024.
