Navigating High-Performance Home Standards

Published about 1 month ago • 1 min read

Hello Reader,

The A-Team recently received this comment: "It would be nice to have a presentation that would be able to make a clear path comparing various High-Performance programs."

There are Energy Star, HERS Ratings/Resnet, Passive House, LEED for Homes, Green Building groups, etc. Which one has been the most beneficial for your individual practice?

Not using any of them?

That's understandable. It seems overwhelming to discern which pathway best aligns with your projects.

Each program offers unique benefits, from optimizing energy efficiency to improving indoor air quality and enhancing overall building durability.

If there was a clear comparison method to be displayed, would it assist you in moving toward a pathway they could dive into and make a pathway for their business?

We are thrilled to invite you to our next High Performance Homes Team discussion.

This discussion will address this crucial question, facilitate a deeper understanding of these high-performance home standards, and create a clear comparison method.

Please help us. Whether you're a designer, builder, or sustainability advocate, your contribution and perspective are invaluable to shaping the future of high-performance homes.

Thanks, and see you there.
The A-Team

P.S. Feel free to share this invite with anyone in your network who might benefit from or contribute to this discussion.

Let's broaden the conversation around high-performance homes!
