According to the Census Bureau, the median income in the U.S. is around $75,000, with Millennials earning higher than average at roughly $84,000 annually.

When these wealthy Millennials choose to move, their disproportionate economic power also accompanies them.

SmartAsset examined which states these wealthy Millennials are moving to and from.

Cook Design Studio, Inc. attended the summer design and build conference held by the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD). The conference ended with Cook Design Studio, Inc. being recognized for design excellence with eight awards during the American Residential Design Awards (ARDA) annual gala dinner.

The U.S. jobs report released on September 6, 2024, shows signs of job market cooling compared to earlier periods.

While the report does not directly address home building, the overall economic trends could affect the industry.

The Board of Directors Approved a New Chapter

At their monthly meeting last week, the AIBD Board of Directors unanimously approved the AIBD, Western North Carolina Chapter charter. Professional Member Oscar Sorcia has volunteered to lead the chapter as Chairman. Their first official meeting is tomorrow, September 10th, and it will be held virtually. Click Here for the link.
