Updates to the D&B San Antonio Schedule

Hello Reader, We have a few quick updates about next week's Design & Build San Antonio. Thursday (July 25) during the DayLeadership LuncheonThe time has been moved thirty minutes later. AIBD Fellow Larry Gilland is preparing a presentation, so we've made it a "working lunch." We don't know what's on his heart to share. But here, there might just be CEs for us. This slight adjustment affects the board meeting, which will also start a half hour later than originally published. Thursday during the eveningCompass Club EventUnfortunately, we won't be able to take a riverboat ride to the 1870 Anton Wulff House. Our executive director is challenged when it comes to reading a map. Between the hotel and King Williams Park is a dam. Oops! We've scheduled a trolley instead. And, like the rest of the afternoon, we've moved back the pick-up time a little. Remember, we're offering a walking tour of historic King William Street (1.0 E-CE). It's going to be hot, dress comfortably. If you plan to attend but haven't already RSVPed, please do at AIBD.org/CompassClubEvent. Friday and Saturday during the dayThe Hauska lunch and learn has moved to Friday, and Draftrs will be presenting during lunch on Saturday. Saturday evening:Nothing's changed. The Awards Gala Reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. outside the Majestic Ballroom at the Embassy Suites San Antonio Riverwalk Downtown hotel. Who knows when it will end? Enjoy an open bar for the first couple of hours and a three-course plated dinner. Attire is black-tie optional. Our Fellows will be sporting their white dinner jackets. You dress how you feel comfortable. If you're receiving this email and you're not registered to attend in person, the hotel still has rooms (almost at our original rate), and there are still seats in the classroom. But decide by midnight on Sunday. First thing Monday, we want to order enough food. Want to attend remotely? You can buy your tickets up to the moment the first session begins, maybe a little after.
