We came across this gem reading the Los Angeles Times this week.

A couple purchased a 1953 ranch house in Van Nuys, CA, designed by modernist architect Kenneth Lind.

The house has now been restored to its original midcentury charm with a few personal touches added.

It’s no secret that log homes are popular — look at the number of log buildings that are among AirBnB’s most wish-listed rentals. However, the natural beauty of these wooden structures is only one of the many benefits of living in a log home.
