Welcome to the FOMO Support Group! Let's begin our session.

"Hi, I'm Sarah, and I have FOMO."

"Hi Sarah," the group responds in unison.

Sarah fidgets nervously. "I... I saw a post about this amazing conference happening this month.

The topics look incredible, the networking opportunities are unparalleled, and there's even a discounted room block at this gorgeous hotel.

But the registration fee increases by $50 on July 8, and I just can't decide if I should go. What if I miss out on the deal of a lifetime?"

The group leader nods sympathetically. "Thank you for sharing, Sarah. Would anyone like to offer some support?"

Tom raises his hand. "Sarah, I've been there. Last year, I almost missed the early bird rate for a similar conference.

But you know what? I registered at the last minute, and it was the best decision I ever made. Don't let FOMO control you - take action now and secure your spot!"

"That's right," chimes in Lisa. "Remember our mantra: 'Register now, regret nothing!' "The group chants together: "Register now, regret nothing!"

Sarah takes a deep breath. "You're right. I'm going to do it. I'm going to register right after this meeting!"

The group leader smiles. "Excellent decision, Sarah. Now, who else wants to share their FOMO struggle?"

Mark hesitantly raises his hand. "Well, I'm worried about missing out on that discounted room block. What if all the good rooms are gone by July 8?"

The group collectively gasps.

"Don't wait, Mark!" exclaims Jennifer. "Book that room now! Remember, a room secured is a FOMO cured!"

Deadlines are approaching and you don't want FOMO.

Hello Reader, On Monday, Steve Mickley shared how one sentence in his agreement helped him collect an unpaid invoice in hours. If you missed it, check it out (00:01:46): That's only one example of how a well-structured contract can save time and money. Here's another, more unusual, scenario. What if your client asks you to design a whole-house remodel, expecting the new insulation, appliances, windows, and HVAC system to lower their electric bill, but the opposite happens? How is that...

Although Jupiter is paradise (#ILiveWhereYouVacation), it's pretty homogenous outside of the AIBD Office. We don't have much of an art culture. All of the music is either Country or something like Rock-Reggae (not like The Police but like Sublime). All of the buildings, houses or otherwise, pretty much all look the same. All of the art looks like this: Beach with American Flag at sunset. Beach with American Flag, this time not at sunset. Don't get me wrong: I love both the beach and American...
